POST-PANDEMIC SITUATION AND DIFFERENT PRICES IN AR$
Since we are a sustainable company, we are responsible for helping the local community of travelers and providing jobs to the mountain guides in the current difficult situation. To cover the trip cost with the promotional price for the Argentinians, we require a minimum of 4 Argentinian passengers.
There is a difference between the official U$D/ARS exchange rate and the parallel exchange rate which is the exchange that covers the actual cost of the trips and the guide’s salary. Trying to take advantage of the exchange rate and pay at the official exchange rate doesn’t help Argentina’s local economy, the guides, and the companies. Every cost of the trip is based on the parallel exchange rate. The Official exchange is half of the price of the actual value of the living cost in Argentina.
Received reservations will be confirmed once the traveler sends the completed and pay reservation form. Each person participating in the trip must fill out a form and provide all the required information. Andes Vertical must be immediately informed of any changes in that information. The traveler may send the reservation form via “We travel booking software”, or through the company’s website. In order to confirm the reservation of Andes Vertical, we will require a non-refundable deposit between 30% and 50% of the total cost of the trip (depending on the activity).
