Day 01 Meeting with the guide in Mendoza. 800m = 2624ft
Checking of equipment and renting of extra equipment if required

Day 02 Transport to Penitentes Village | 2800 m = 9190 ft
Trekking to the base camp I 3212m = 10541 ft  I  through the ‘Quebrada de Vargas’ and overnight (4-6 hours average time)

Elevation gain 411 m = 1351ft

Day 03 Climbing of Penitentes summit 14229ft, back to base camp and overnight (5-6 hours average time)

Elevation gain 1124m = 3688ft

Day 04 Return to Los Penitentes Village and from there, transport to Mendoza (3 hours average time)

Departure 8:00 am

Return in Mendoza 7:00 pm

Average trekking time 6 – 8 h

Total elevation gain 5630ft

Upper body
• 1 Top underwear, Polypropylene or thermal capeline
• 1 Long sleeve shirts
• 1 Fleece jacket
• 1 Windproof Gore-Tex jacket, it must have a hood

• 1 Pairs of liner gloves
• 1 Pair of fleece or wool gloves
