Hiking Cordón del Plata

Vallecitos is to 80 km the West of the City of Mendoza, in the Cordón del Plata mountain range. With peaks from 3000 up to 6000 meters, it is the venue chosen by many climbers as the center of acclimatization in altitude before attempting to ascend the summit of Aconcagua or simply enjoying a great view. Trekking at this altitude provides wonderful sights in the highest mountain range outside of Aconcagua. Enjoy the camping experience at one of the most beautiful mountain refuges of Argentina
